Two Hundred business professionals attended the Leadership Forum on at Maggiano's on Post Oak. The speakers were Cedric Burgher; Senior Managing Director for FTI Consulting, Amanda Hammel; the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Memorial Herman Health Care System, and Eric Johnson; National Director for Transwestern's Healthcare Advisory Services Group. Over half the attendees filled out a comment card to indicate the way in which they would like to get more involved with LeaderImpact Houston.
The Road Less Traveled Mini Series
Over 30 people signed up for a four-session lunch and discussion group at the Houston Club. The study group was facilitated by Cedric Burgher; Senior Managing Director for FTI Consulting. Cedric discussed topics such as dealing with stress, servant leadership and margin vs boundary principles. Cedric has more than 30 years of experience in the energy and financial services sector with a decade as Chief Financial Officer.
Young Professionals Meetup
Gordon Hall; Chairman of the board at Archrock, serves as a LeaderImpact Coach. Gordon meets with a group of young professionals at the Houston Club every other week to discuss the material. Gordon says that he enjoys helping young professionals learn to integrate their spiritual and professional life. He remembers that when he was a young professional, " being connected with other believers at work and in the community was transformative to his spiritual growth."
